Our coronavirus policy...

Under Government guidelines, we are open and available for repairs & maintenance.

We will never attend an appointment at your home if we have any symptoms at all. We will wash our hands before entering your home, remove our shoes and keep a safe distance at all times. We will be as swift as possible but always ensure our high quality workmanship as well. We are happy to use disposable gloves should you request and any other requests you may feel appropriate.

We will remain open and available for business as usual and will do anything in our power to keep things as normal as they can be during these difficult times and we are always so grateful to our wonderful customers and the support they give our family business.

Andy, Natalie, & Alfie  The PVC Fix team.

2. Work carried out in people’s homes

Work carried out in people’s homes, for example by tradespeople carrying out repairs and maintenance, can continue, provided that the tradesperson is well and has no symptoms.

Again, it will be important to ensure that Public Health England guidelines, including maintaining a two-metre distance from any household occupants, are followed to ensure everyone’s safety.

No work should be carried out in any household which is isolating or where an individual is being shielded, unless it is to remedy a direct risk to the safety of the household, such as emergency plumbing or repairs, and where the tradesperson is willing to do so. (Source: Gov.uk)
